KATEEVASTHY & NASYAM
ABHYANGAM-Head, face and whole body massge with herbal oils. Helps to increase the oil content of the body, relax the mind and muscles
UDWARTHANAM-Whole body massage with dry herbal powders. Indicated for obesity, chronic inflammation and increasing the health of the skin
KARNA POORANAM-Application of herbal oils into the external ear. Indicated for trigeminal neuralgia, ear pain, tinnitus etc.
SHIRO DHARA-Continuous streaming of herbal oils on the forehead is known as shirodhara. Indicated for Insomnia, anxiety, hairloss, neurological and psychiatric problems etc.
KATEEVASTHY-Maintaining herbal oils on the lumbo-sacral region of the body, using a suppot mady by dough is known as kateevasthy. Indicated for low-back ache, problems of inter-vertebral disc etc.
NASYAM-It is a Panchakarma treatment. Application of drops of oil through the nasal opening is known as Nasyam. Indicated in chronic headache, hairlos, psychiatric and neurological problems etc.
PINDA SWEDA-Whole-body massage done by warm herbal bundles dipped in oil is known as Pinda sweda. Indicated for joint and muscular pain and stiffness, arthritis, neurological and degenerative diseases.
NETHRA TARPANAM-Maintaining clarified butter prepared with herbs, in the eyes, supported by a form made by wheat dough, is known as Nethra tarpanam. Helps ti increase the moistness of the eyes, reduce degenerative diseases of the eyes.
THALAM-Applying a herbal paste, over the anterior fontanella is known as Thalam. It helps to calm psychiatric and neurological problems, calms insomnia, headache etc.
PICHU-Applying cotton pads dipped in herbal oils over a specific area of the body is known as Pichu. Indicated for muscular pain and sprains etc.
